Watson Genealogy

Welcome to the site, which is run by the House of Watson International. The aim of this site is to make available all the genealogical data that the society has gathered, either through our own research or through submissions from others. We endeavour to ensure that all data is validated but will state in the notes against each person where this has not yet been done. The family trees of prominent Watson individuals and clusters will be listed separately (unless links are discovered between two different trees), with all other data being uncategorised. All data is available in the one database that can be searched by using the search boxes on this page or by using the Advanced Search function.

If you have queries, please check out the user guide on the site in the first instance, but feel free to contact us if you still have questions. We are also happy to hear from you if you wish to submit data or would like to highlight errors. Please also feel free to sign up to the Facebook group to meet other Watsons, join the discussion and ask any questions that you may have!

We are a rapidly growing group of family history enthusiasts who are either Watsons ourselves or feel a connection to the name. Our interests are not limited to Scotland and we are actively researching Watson families and the spread of the name across the globe, together with some of the places that they lived and worked.
